The Special Day

I woke up this morning,
And hopped out of bed
I started to get ready,
Because soon I would be newly wed

I hurried up,
And got to the beach
I began to put my dress on,
As I heard people preach

The music started to play,
I put myself in my place
Started walking down the aisle,
With my eyes glued to your face

I got to where,
We were standing side by side
I began to think,
And started to cry

We said our vows,
Slowly to one another
And got lost in each others eyes,
We didn’t want this moment to be over

The preacher said,
You may kiss the bride
You moved the veil away from my face,
And it was me that you would find

As the moment ended,
You swept me off my feet
It was me that you wanted,
Forever and ever to keep…

The Bride To Be

Here in my dress is myself,
Staring in to the mirror.
As i was wishing for the perfect wedding,
My body became stiff,
My heart like a balloon,
Either ready to float away,
Or ready to pop.

I started thinking of what could go wrong,
My mind filled with horrid ideas,
My dress might get torn,
Or my farther might be come ill ,
Who would take me up the aisle?
The day came.
Strangled my heart felt.
My sweet heart lifts my veil.
Our mouths touched, we kissed.
What i had prayed for came true.

He is the one

White flowing dress
like a moon upon the water
Waves the wind as she floats past her kin.
She is a perfect picture
of innocence and grace.
Light catches her eye as it moves across her face
her eyes are fixed upon a man standing there.
and deep in her heart
She knows that hes the one…
that all her life
She has prayed for..
