Helpless

When you remember the old times,
and you cry at nights…

When you miss your school days,
those laughs n those fights…

First thing that hits you in mind,
Is that you will turn back time…

Just live those moments again,
and everything will be fine…

but the next thought that hits you,
is that everything is a mess…

You just cant make it happen again,
and you feel so HELPLESS

Today on June 11th of 2008,
Are you feeling good? Because Im feeling Great.

Words cannot explain how overjoyed I am,
No more books, or homework or knowledge to cram.

No need to cry or to be sad there is no need to worry,
Because in a few more months were back in school, so im not in a hurry.

These four years have gone by so fast,
but the memories and friends will forever last.

I’ll never forget the friends I’ve made,
as I exit the Eighth Grade.

So far eight years of education,
have prepared me for High School Situations.

As I exit middle school I’ll leave with no regrets,
Because the class of 2008 Is the best, So when I enter High School I will Be set,
and this Experience I wont forget.

Im ready for anything that comes my way,
If it wasn’t for my teachers I would not be who I am today.

So Thank you Mrs. Hall for keeping me on the ball, Standing tall,
Not letting me fall, and I appreciate it all.

Graduation

The time has come
For us to depart.
It may feel like the end
But it’s only the start.

It’s our time to leave
And use all that we have learned,
As we venture away from high school
And into this big, unfamiliar world.

We say our goodbyes
We cry our last tears.
We take all these pictures
That will last us for years.

We’ll look back on the drama
We’ll look back on the fights.
We’ll laugh it all off
Because we’re going on with life.

There we are
In our neat lined-up rows,
In our caps and gowns
Anxiously waiting to be let go.

Our names are called
And we finally approach the stage.
As we look upon the audience
We all of a sudden become very afraid.

But then it goes away
As we come closer and closer to our goal.
We’re finally going to graduate
And go into the world with all we know.

Let’s all at once
Throw our caps in the air.
Let’s all at once
Scream like we don’t care.

We did it, we’re done
Oh my goodness thank heaven!
We finally made it
We’re now the graduating class of 2007

Graduation Week

Finally it is here
The one we have been waiting for all year
Graduation week
Oh, doesn’t that sound so sweet

The time for parties
The time to relax
The time to throw away the books
The time to start to pack

Graduation night is so near
I can almost hear the cheer
The cheer in the voices
As we sing out year 12 song

One last walk around the school
Trying to remember through the gloom
Of the highs and the lows
Of the happy and the sad

One last look as we walk out the gate
Of the place we called home for five years to date
Saying goodbye to friends, maybe for the last time
As the bell rings the last chime.

Graduate who makes me smile

To the graduate who makes me smile
Or melt away whenever he comes near,
The handsome one, with lovely eyes and hair,
Hearts leaning toward his sunlight all the while:
Even I, who am your friend, lean toward you,
Gripped with pride in all that you have done,
Relishing the compliments you’ve won,
Alight with all the ways I might reward you.
Draw your own sweet dreams. I wish you well
Upon your graduation and beyond.
And if I could, I’d wave my magic wand
That happiness for you I might compel,
Even as I think what time might tell.
