My heart wrecked with sorrow
My pain ingrained deep
With my vision of tomorrow forgotten and asleep

A world of illusion
Where reality is so warped
A mirage of confusion
Where i chose not to walk

Instead i tread the path
Where others fear to go
Where GOD meets you there
Where I’d been once before

Where i strayed from my roots
And forgotten my dreams
Crossed over the river
And swam the lonely stream

I searched high and low
I walked through the valleys
I delved in the deep
And dismal dark alleys

Only to find loneliness
And empty sullen eyes
Living with pain
And so full of lies

Only to find hatred
Where only love should live
A world full of sin
Which only GOD could forgive

I saw through the shadows
I came through the rain
To merge with the darkness
The light once again

My hopes and my dreams
Subdued with remorse
My plans and my schemes
Brought me back to the source

From the torment of passion
To the Glory of Truth
I found GOD in the treasure
I found Loving proof

I played in the ocean
I glided through the sea
I crossed back over the river
Where I learned to be free

I search for an answer to the word of life
And I come up with no answers to the lies
They say one is happy doing what he likes
But, is it possible to be wrapped up in the strife
Everyday planning, everyday people
Everyday problems that don’t seem to matter
When do we call it enough or throw in the towel
Or do we go through life like it’s a battle
Fighting with each other over senseless things
Or call a truce and go our separate ways?
Do I take the canvas and paint my picture of
What life really means to me? Or, do
I drop the paintbrush and splatter the paint
For is there really truth in life that can
Ease all this pain….of deceit and heartache
I’m sure I will survive this word of life
That when looked at through the eyes of love

A secret feeling I can’t express,
Without expressing I can’t repress
To express it is really hard
While repressing it- I’ve become a bard.

Wanna express my love to her all the time
But it’s so hard to express even a single time.
Don’t know the way to vent my love
The only hope is God above.

There is no medium, no outlet
To call my love for a simple date,
Can’t say my love to my love,

Social bounds- so hard to break

If you never forget, but never regret
Though life doesn’t seem quite right, just yet
You think he is gone, when you close your eyes
But if you can still remember, then that love never dies

When your warmth is gone, and you’re left in the cold
Where do you go, when good feelings are now old?
What can fill that hole, that’s left in your heart
Your fire is now salty, your sweet is now tart

You feel that he is in the past, and the past is now gone
Waiting for the future, that seems to drag on
But did you know, that he is watching you in the present?
No more pain, no more hurt, simply loving and pleasant

He wishes he could hold you now, though he is NEVER far away
He wishes you would feel his warmth, to make the tears go away
He is waiting at the gates, when it’s time to let you in
To share the pain-free beauty, no more sadness, no more sin

Just when I was putting the pieces back together and thinking it was going to heal
You came in the picture,
I thought I would have control and keep my self from falling for you,
But I was too weak and naive,
Talking and laughing together I thought things are going good
Yet again I was wrong and I got hurt,
Crying wont help throwing a fit wont help either,
So I’m gonna let my heart be in these pieces and not touch it,
Whatever life goes on right?
Lets keep saying that maybe I will believe it one day,
Insanity and tolerance can take so much,
