My eyes won’t close and never to slumber
With your head on my lap so warm and fresh
Your hair smells like dew in the morning breeze
To say my nitey nite not one for me this time

As i run my fingers through your hair with a smile
I feel my heart gazing at you with dewy eyes
Like a baby from the womb so cuddly in sleep
To say my nitey nite not one for me this time

I watch with glee as my palm lies on your cheeks
Lovingly my heart utters i love you my dear one
Your breath warms my hand to bare your love
To say my nitey nite not one for me this time

Warmly i kiss your lips passionately with eyes closed
This time i shut my sight for a while to feel the love
With darkness but sparks all flying with ecstacy
I say my nitey nite now with his love lulling me to sleep
